| 1950 | Founding of Heinrich Betz Kunststoffspritzerei (plastics injection moulding plant) by Heinrich Betz |

| 1956 | Began specialising in the production of screwdrivers, including metal processing (blade production) |

| 1960 | Building of first extension to the factor to increase capacity in blade production and in the field of plastic injection moulding |

| 1968 | Takeover of Walter Werninghaus Spannwerkzeuge (clamping tools), including production. Extension of the product line to produce clamps and vices (vice production has now discontinued). Second extension in order to take the production of screw clamps over. |

| 1989 | Third extension and establishment of a modern plastics injection moulding plant, as well as an expansion of capacity. |
